Awards
St Edwards First School is very proud of its' achievements and especially so when these are recognised by other professional organisations.
Although no longer available, we gained School Achievement Awards in 3 consecutive years.
Healthy School Status was awarded to St. Edwards in 2007 together with the ActiveMark for our commitment to sport.
We gained Gold status for the ArtsMark Award in recognition of the high standards attained by our pupils in art, music and dance.
In February 2009 we learnt we had been awarded the Activemark 2008. This rewards exceptional delivery of the National School Sport Strategy and recognises that at least 90% of pupils across our school were doing at least 2 hours high quality PE and school sport each week.
